Back in the coastal countryside of Central Vietnam, my grandfather used to weave ropes and baskets from the humble coconut husk — a craft passed down through generations.

Years later, when I welcomed my first dog, Mochi, I realized most chew toys on the market were made of plastic, filled with chemicals, and often left Mochi with an upset stomach or broken toys after a few minutes of play.

That moment sparked the beginning of Thatuwood — a brand born from childhood memories, love for pets, and the desire to create something truly safe, natural, and sustainable.

We take what nature gives freely — discarded coffee wood and coconut husk fibers — and handcraft them into beautiful, durable chew toys dogs can safely enjoy.
